Big Mouth: Connie's Best Quotes – GameRant
Connie has some pretty memorable quotes in Big Mouth. These are some of the funniest of the bunch.
Big Mouth is an animated adult comedy show on Netflix that explores the challenges and hardships that pre-teens go through when they reach that certain age. Raunchy comedy, explicit language, and side-splitting dilemmas are the main focus of the show, and it has completely blown fans away with every episode. Big Mouth has recently released its sixth season and brought an entirely new wave of sexually frustrated rage to the animated market when the entire cast goes through family issues, relationship drama, and cosmic consequences.
Even the hormone monstress Connie has her fair share of issues as Maury’s pregnancy quickly approaches its climax. Connie is one of the most beloved characters in Big Mouth and has more than just a few snappy lines to make her memorable.
Season 1 of Big Mouth made a big splash in a lot of different ways. In some aspects, the animated explicit ball-pit bounce was polarizing to many viewers. However, as the season progressed, fans got attached to the turmoil of the cast and latched on to their favorites.
In the "Head Push" episode, Nick hosts a party for popular kids, and things go left quickly when half the house ends up drunk on one of Jay’s concoctions, even Connie. After a spat with Maury, Connie drowns her sorrows in a few cups of courage and begins to cut loose along with the rest. Then, in a bubbly shout, she lets out this masterful phrase that encompasses the entire episode perfectly.
Season 3 of Big Mouth returns with a laundry list of new issues as the boys and the girls explore their more toxic side fresh off the heels of Valentine's Day. To further stir the pot, a new student arrives named Ali, who happens to be a pansexual. The entire school is chattering about her arrival on top of celebrating the “marriage” of the school's top couple, Devin and Devon.
At Devon’s bachelor party, a list is made ranking all the girls in the school, and while Jessie is put off by the act, she is frustrated to learn she isn't on it. As Jessie’s reputation sinks lower and lower, Connie panics and spews a last-ditch idea to jumpstart her ascension.
In season 1, Episode 2 of Big Mouth, Jessie begins her journey to learn how to take in all the feelings piling on top of her after her kiss with Nick and her body giving her presents she didn't ask for. Just when Jessie's at her wit's end, Connie steps on the scene for the first time in the series. Connie’s entrance is a masterpiece as she encompasses everything a hormone monster should be, confident, cool, and sexually charged.
Jessie is ecstatic to learn she's not alone anymore, and Connie jumps headfirst into guiding Jessie down the rocky road of emotions and maturity. When Jessie remarks about how her mother and the Statue of Liberty piled a ton of weight on her about womanhood, Connie chimes in with this brilliant one-liner.
Season 2 of Big Mouth kicks off with Jessie and Jay on the road, running away from their home and their problems. The dynamic duo enables each other's denial and decides to keep each other company in their new lives. Unfortunately, the love interest between Jay and Jessie, while budding, is doomed to fail as both have unresolved complexes, such as Jessie’s family issue and Jay being Jay.
When the love birds end up at a motel, they attempt to become intimate, but it backfires when Jessie and Jay become insecure and hostile. Jessie retreats to the bathroom with Connie, where they both begin to cry. Jessie rethinks her decisions and what interested her in Jay in the first place. Instead of consoling Jessie, Connie adds to her dismay and blurts out a preview of things to come.
Big Mouth pushes the envelope even further when a new player joins the story in the form of the Shame Wizard, also known as Lionel, who plays a larger role in the Human Resources Spin-off. The Shame Wizard appears after Andrew gets caught in a compromising position by Nick’s sister, which leaves both traumatized.
Jessie is not having a good time of it either when her emotions push her to make reckless decisions. While trying to escape from her mother, her friends, and her life altogether, she wanders into a convenience store, venting to Connie. In the heat of all the angst, Connie blatantly lays out her dirty laundry but alerts her that even if she feels horrible, she can still look pretty.
Season 4 of Big Mouth begins with every kid's favorite pastime, summer camp. Nick is excited to revisit the one place where he felt on top of the world and reconnect with his old friend, Seth. However, a wrench is thrown into the mix when Andrew makes an impromptu tag-along and joins Nick at camp. What makes matters even worse is that Andrew takes Nick’s spot and even becomes Seth’s new best bud.
Nick, in a fit of jealousy and anger, lashes out at Andrew and Seth, which they coldly disregard and make fun of him for, which pushes him even further over the edge. During this time, Connie is serving as Nick’s new hormone monstress and having a more challenging time than she planned. As she walks in on Nick fleeing from Seth and Andrew with Maurey yelling and berating him, Connie steps in and gives Maury and piece of her mind and her skis.
Connie is one of the best characters in Big Mouth, and her first appearance is a legendary moment in the show, to say the least. When Jessie has nowhere to turn and is overwhelmed by her misfortune, Connie erupts from the shadows and becomes her Hormone Monstress. Jessie is taken aback by how fabulous Connie is. Her style, confidence, and smell all create a feeling of comfort, and Jessie calms down.
Connie explains she is here to guide Jessie and make her feel better. The two share an embrace, and Jessie inquires as to why she smells so good. Connie replies with her most memorable quote to date and utters “Bubble Bath” as only she can.
